Distance Learning Facilities The FIC supports three state-of-the-art distance learning classrooms, allowing remote students to view your lectures live via a streaming webcast. Captured lectures are posted for on-demand viewing at any time. You can pre-record a lecture if you need to miss a class, to go over remedial material, or to present material that cannot be covered in class due to time constraints. |

ECAC Podcast Podcasts, unlike a webstream, are unique in that users can “subscribe” to content and automatically receive regular updates. Content can be audio, video, or even “enhanced” media. This delivery option allows for instructional assets to be both portable and archive-ready. Michael Powell, Director of the Engineering Career Assistance Center, approached the FIC to use this exciting technology to assist engineering students in the job search process. |
