As the focal point for teaching and learning within the Cockrell School of Engineering, we provide resources that support the “signature pedagogies” used to deliver engineering instruction. These “signature pedagogies” (a term defined by Lee S. Shulman of The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching) are the specialized forms of instruction that will promote in engineering students the knowledge base, creative thinking, and practical skills they are to acquire. Over the years we’ve compiled a collection of documents and links that address an array of pertinent instructional issues. Our collection, focused on practical ideas for your teaching, is growing all the time, so check back in the future.
