Indoor Environmental Quality Website

The FIC was asked by Richard Corsi to build a public service website in order to educate the general public about indoor environmental quality as it refers to the nature of contamination, its sources, fate, impacts, and removal in buildings. The site features an interactive virtual tour of a house to illustrate threats from airborn contaminant.

This website is intended as an educational tool, allowing students to explore various components of mass and energy balances as related to indoor environments, two of the basic principles used extensively in many engineering disciplines are the conservation of mass and energy. The FIC worked with Jeffery Seigel and Richard Corsi.
