The FIC has a brand new site. In addition to overhauling the look-and-feel of our site, we have streamlined much of the site's content, including expanded resources for UTwired and a new showcase of our work in the Portfolio area.

Our interest in educational technology boils down to a simple question,
”How does it enhance teaching and learning?” We know that it is a burden to design, produce and maintain online resources. The FIC is the College’s answer to your technology and instructional needs. One service that we provide is a unique online course tool called UTwired Prometheus. While there are numerous products available, we selected this tool based on its:
We began using Prometheus in the summer of 2000 and we have been pleased with its usage in the College. Of course, we are eager for more of you to use it. Many of you are aware that in January, another course tool vendor, Blackboard, purchased Prometheus. We will continue to license Prometheus and for the foreseeable future, it will remain a separate product on the Blackboard platform.
